enough songs. If we were going to stick to our plan we had to exclude some. But how long is an album? We came to the conclusion that 12 songs would be suitable for an album and we might get that done in time.

It was hard to make that selection, we really think that all the songs are really great. Still, it had to be done and so we corresponded over email to narrow the numbers down.

While doing this we also started talking about what kind of musicians and instruments we would like to

have for a stage performance and since we both play various instruments that was a bit tricky. But if this was to become an album we should be prepared and know how to present it well.

With regard to the songs that we chose we decided that the band should be an old tape recorder that I bought from an old accordion player in the 90s. We will just exclude the instruments we want to play live from the tape—and it looks cool too.

Instead of sending out material we have gathered our stuff here. We hope that it will be easy and fun to explore.

Some things on this site are hidden or will need a password. For the time being we are focusing on getting in contact with producers who might find our material interesting and therefore we don’t wish to spread our work

How do we launch this? Well, this is as far as we have got for the time being.

songs flurried back and forth between our computers as summer came along.

Meanwhile plans were made for the final mixing of the songs and maybe we could squeeze in a short live performance of one or two songs for our long-suffering wives and kids and a camera.

Yo rigged a stage and lighting in the barn and made a sche

dule for the mixing day—a schedule that was bound to fail due to lack of wits.

It was an intense day of mixing, great lunch, mixing, coffee, mixing, playing, dinner, mixing, playing, before Yo rushed off in the night to catch the last train.

It took days to recover, but we  managed to get it done.

The spring consisted mainly of processing the songs. New instruments and beats were added and a couple of songs changed style altogether.

A broken clutch on the car forced Yo to cancel his trip to the studio—no money left to travel. But father and son and friends held a great opening in June as planned.
