So, we got together in the Capital and started out eating good and going to see Iron Maiden. Great show and then we got a few hours sleep before we had to catch the train up north. Unfortunately someone thought it was a great idea to steal copper from the railway so the train couldn’t take us all the way. Luckily we got help from friends lending us a car so that we could drive the last bit. We got there in time to meet up with the band “Brända Taket”and joined them on a few songs at the festival going on. Then one Yo got fever and sat down in a chair for the rest of that evening. Good thing that we planned the return trip next day in the afternoon in order to catch some rest.
We also got some new business cards out and this year the first two were to be found in Ottawa, Canada. There was also one card placed in Lake Placid, USA. Some of the songs that you can access with a card like that are original versions of some tracks that we’re releasing on the upcoming album “Pearls” in short. So, if you never have been able to catch one of our business cards you’ll just have to wait a little bit until you can hear them on music streaming services – if all works out as planned. And yes, planning is great and we headed back to the Capital with the car in good time. Smart thing as there was an accident on the way that held us up. When we reached the city where we were returning the car, there were no Taxis to take us to the train to be found.
Luckily a kind neighbor offered to drive us to the station and we made it just in time for departure. Then we hade a couple of days of just taking it easy, talking, planning, playing music and simply creating good memories. Then it was time for one Yo to leave in order to listen to a concert with Neil Young. This time travels were easy and the concert was fantastic. Other Yo started mastering the tracks for the upcoming album and sent one song at a time so that we could both chat about every piece. About a week later it seems as if the album is done. We just want to listen a few more times until we upload the stuff and set a release date. And one Yo needs to get well from the pneumonia he had during this period.
