This year startef off with us deciding to make a list of songs that we had not yet published and create a new album of them. We also had a nice get together with our webguy to thank him for all the great work he’s done for us over the years. We took the opportunity to make some live videos, similar to those we made in 2017, to publish on our YouTube channel further on.
We worked on the songs adding choir, instruments and enhancing the sound from original recordings. Happy that we were careful about everything when we made the original recordings way back, some songs are from when we just started this project in 2011, we started altering. We also made our fastest release ever early on this year. One Friday evening the song MANA emerged by one Yo’s keyboard and other Yo finished it the next day. On Sunday it was sent to our distributor Amuse that sent it to music streaming services at once, so if we would have published directly, the song would’ve been out Sunday evening. We chose to set the release date to Valentines Day, as we thought that it would be the most suitable for this song.

Work with the new album continued and we where pretty much done with all of the songs in May. In June it was time for another get together having a good time, listening to music and also playing together with friends. One Yo got pneumonia and had a terrible summer as it continued with an ear infection that made him half deaf. The other Yo had to do final adjustments to the album alone and did the last touches at the STIM studio. If possible we’ll do all final work there further on.
The album “Pearls” was scheduled for release September 19 and we scheduled the regular email campaign and started to promote it on our social media accounts. Our good friends “The David Bowers Awards” made two full shows with us and the music from the new album and we are forever grateful. We are also very happy that Arroe Collins had us back on his show to make an episode about songs on the new album. The reception and all the great things said about our music is fuel for us and it keeps us going. It is, in fact, incredible that you all care to share the air with us every now and then. Thanks for doing so.

After a couple of months we started talking about the next thing we would do. There might be an EP or something next year, but when we dig into the vast material we’ve made, we also get new ideas and different ones. We joined the social media platform Threads this fall, but we don’t know really what to do with it yet. We added a video page here for everyone that wants to find a certain lyric video quick. We started working on new songs and some old ones too.
Writing this as November is leaving and we’re heading for the Christmas craze. We hope there will be peace on earth, that you have people around you that you care for and that care for you. xdhnjloop (from one cat on the computer keyboard) and lots of love from us. Let’s male 2026 as nice as we can!
